Is Covid 19 a sign of the times?
In a greater way than any I’ve experienced in my lifetime, the world has become a global community.

In spite of the fact that travel around the world has almost come to a standstill, world news has overshadowed local news in every country of the world. We are all in this together.

It’s a global issue.

Makes me wonder how the world will respond at the second coming of Christ. Especially if I understand scripture accurately in that the next major event in God’s time table is the Rapture. The “catching away” (Latin) of the church, when millions of people, around the globe, will be caught up together with Christ in the Air, and “one shall be taken and the other left behind”.

The global focus. The global currency, The chip in the hand that is already existing in Sweden. All these Signs of the Times should draw us back to the Scriptural focus of preparation, not simply events.

Let’s jump to Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians this morning. He starts by refuting the heresy in his day that when you die, your candle simply goes out.
