The Gospel in the 10/40 Window
Todd and Christie have also been equipping workers to bring Christ’s love to those living in the 10/40 window! One such worker has been in Bangladesh these last 10 months, leading a house-church with 10-14 people of Muslim, Hindu and Catholic backgrounds. Other brothers in Christ have been enduring persecution from Iran. One recently fled to Sweden, another has been subject to long-term imprisonment for the crime of apostasy (converting to Christianity – please pray).
What a testimony! Not only are our fellow workers sharing the Gospel with those fleeing the 10/40 window, they’re ‘smuggling’ the Gospel right back into the heart of it!

The Gospel in Edson
The Edson Christian Ops Centre (ECOC) continues to be a priority for us as long as we live here. While COVID has interrupted the group’s ability to get together and fellowship with one another, it certainly hasn’t stopped people from reaching out for spiritual, material and emotional support! Grocery runs continue, as do late-night phone calls with people suffering from loneliness and anxiety. We’re so grateful for our partners in this ministry!. It will be so exciting to see what they’ve done with it when we return from our first 3-year trip.

Family Update
How do the McCombs fare? Like anyone else, we’re sick to death of COVID, longing for fellowship, itching to get out of the house (and in Colin’s case, onto a treadmill…). The kids of course miss their friends and deeply miss those kids’ programs at the church that have been closed due to COVID. Nonetheless, home-schooling goes well, Colin’s job security continues for the time-being, and meetings with new ministry partners have really picked up since Christmas!
